Interactive CrossMedia is communication. The technology is spreading the word and the images through your computer, your tv, radio, pda and phone. Like the best storyteller, you are pulled in and invited to live inside the story, add your own endings, and tell others what you saw.

This award aims to provide the media and communications industry with creatives for on-line and interactive media, and you will be given a broad experience in crossmedia production, from typographic animations though to immersive scripting. The course reflects industrial practice, and you will be supported and encouraged to find industrial placements while an undergraduate. There are a variety of live and negotiated projects; building theory on a practical understanding of the medium; and practical methods on reflection on industry production.

Throughout the course, students share their own range of media experience and knowledge over several projects. It is a key issue for the course, that you are able to produce work at every level that reflects your own strengths. At certificate and intermediate levels this means an assessment emphasise on reflection on process rather than final artefact, and at all three levels we encourage students to approach project work in teams.
